Or play a totally unique game of navalwarfare Battleship: Surface Thunder.  In it you take command of your ownbattleship and sink enemy convoys attack shore gun emplacements and freecaptured ports in an all-out effort to defeat a renegade empire. Both modesfeature fantastic graphics animations and sounds. Batten down the hatches andget ready for naval combat action at its best.

Activities Include

Classic Mode

Based on the classic board game of naval warfare the Classic mode pits yourfleet of 5 ships - ranging from the mighty aircraft carrier to the small butdeadly PT boat - against your enemy's fleet. Each player secretly places his orher ships on a battle grid. Players then take turns firing shots at theiropponent's grid in an effort to locate and sink enemy ships. Ships thatare  hit burst into flames but don't sink until they've been hit by asufficient number of shots.  The larger the ship the more shots it willtake to sink it.  Keep track of your misses and concentrate your firearound shots that produce a hit in order to sink your opponent's fleet. Thewinner is the player who has a ship afloat when all the enemy vessels are sunk.


Arcade Adventure

Get ready to leave the board game behind and venture into hostile waters. Your neighboring country's friendly King has fallen ill and can no longer rule.His son Good Prince Dudley has taken the King's place on the throne. ButPrince Dudley has mysteriously disappeared while traveling and the shady LordDrash has assumed control in Prince Dudley's absence.  Lord Drash's firstact as ruler was to launch an unprovoked and devastating surprise attack on yoursurface fleet. Enemy forces have sunk all the ships in our fleet - except thelone battleship under your command. You must locate Prince Dudley and restorehim to power.  But it won't be easy even with a mighty battleship. You'llhave to blast your way past enemy ships heavily armed fortresses hostileairplanes and lurking sea creatures in a series of ever more challengingmissions.  You can't simply rely on your ship's awesome firepower - you'llneed new weapons power-ups and a bit of luck as you right a lonely battle torestore the Prince to the throne.
